Venice Carnival 2021

Its origins:

are very ancient, the first testimony dates back to a document of doge Vitale Falier of 1094, where we talk about public entertainment and in which the word Carnival is mentioned for the first time.  It is in the eighteenth century that the Venice Carnival reaches its maximum splendor, gaining international resonance throughout Europe.

Disguise is the very essence of the festival, where masks and costumes become indispensable tools to realize the climate of this time of year, dedicated to transgression, light-heartedness, lightness and fun.

Among the streets of the wonderful city, for about ten days, there is a continuous representation of theatrical joy and playfulness, all in masks to celebrate the charm of a world made of dances, jokes, exclusive galas and romantic encounters
